This is more than a ski trip — it’s a deep dive into the heart of Canada’s freeride culture.
The Powder Highway is where legendary terrain, deep snow, and authentic mountain towns come together. From Revelstoke’s massive vertical to the soul of Whitewater, from cat skiing wild zones to the charm of Nelson and Red Mountain — this road trip connects the best of BC.
You’ll ride where the locals ride, follow the storm, and experience British Columbia like few ever do.
If you’re chasing powder and the real mountain lifestyle — this is your trip.
Welcome to Western Canada. Upon independent arrival at Kelowna International Airport (YLW), you’ll meet the Forever crew and load up the van for the start of our journey along the Powder Highway. We’ll begin heading north, stopping for the night along the way. Expect scenic mountain roads, frozen lakes, and the first taste of BC’s winter magic.
Overnight on the road to Revelstoke
We kick off the trip in style with a full day riding Revelstoke, one of North America’s most iconic freeride destinations. With a vertical drop of over 1,700 meters, deep glades, and high-alpine bowls, Revelstoke is intense, beautiful, and guaranteed to leave a mark.
Overnight in Revelstoke
Today we head into the legendary Rogers Pass, deep in the Selkirk Mountains. Known as the holy grail of Canadian backcountry, we’ll earn our turns through long skin tracks and descend into untouched lines surrounded by towering peaks.
Overnight in Revelstoke
We continue our road trip deeper into the Powder Highway, driving to Nelson, a town full of charm, soul, and mountain spirit. The journey itself is a highlight — snow-covered forests and winding roads through remote BC terrain.
Overnight in Nelson
Just a few kilometers from Nelson lies Whitewater, a small resort with big character. Known for its consistent snowfall and playful terrain, it’s a favorite among locals for good reason. Expect steep trees, natural pillows, and good vibes. After riding, explore Nelson’s cool cafés, breweries, and laid-back scene.
Overnight in Nelson
Today is yours to shape. Ride Whitewater again, take a mid-week rest, explore Nelson’s downtown, visit nearby hot springs, or recharge with great food and relaxed vibes.
Overnight near Red Mountain
Today we step away from resorts and into the wild with a full day of cat skiing with Big Red Cats. With access to over 600 runs across 19,000 acres, you’ll ride deep powder through open bowls and perfectly spaced glades — no lift lines, no stress, just pure backcountry joy.
Overnight near Red Mountain
Start the day riding at Red Mountain, one of BC’s oldest and most rugged resorts. We’ll explore steep faces, trees, and backside descents before making the final transfer to Big White, our last stop.
Overnight in Big White
We close the tour in Big White, known for its famous “champagne powder,” massive terrain, and vibrant village. From wide groomers to deep tree zones, Big White has it all — the perfect place to end a week-long powder mission.
Overnight in Big White
Enjoy a slow morning exploring the snowy village or grabbing a final coffee before transferring to Kelowna Airport (YLW) for your return flight. Expect tired legs, full hearts, and unforgettable memories from the Powder Highway.
