Northern Lines is a splitboard and ski touring expedition that takes you deep into Northern Norway’s most iconic zones: 4 nights in Tromsø followed by 3 nights in the legendary Lyngen Alps – home to some of the most scenic terrain in Europe.
Led by snowboard or a mountain guide and supported by the Forever Snow Trips crew, you’ll ride untouched snow, climb mountains rising from the sea, and maybe even witness the northern lights.

Arrive in Tromsø, a vibrant Arctic town surrounded by peaks and fjords. After check-in, we meet for the trip briefing, gear check, and avalanche safety session. You’ll meet your guide team and fellow riders.

Today we’ll choose the best zone based on conditions: open bowls, couloirs, or rolling ridges with sea views.
800–1,200m vertical gain, moderate to advanced terrain

We venture further west. Expect longer approaches, untouched snow, and a sense of real Arctic solitude.

We hit the road and head northeast along dramatic coastlines toward the legendary Lyngen Alps. After settling into our cozy lodge, we’ll go for a short afternoon tour to get a feel for the terrain.

The Lyngen Alps deliver. Towering peaks, steep faces, wide-open powder fields – the playground is endless. Your guide will tailor the objective to your level and the snowpack, aiming for unforgettable descents above the fjords.

Another full day in the backcountry – this time heading deeper into hidden valleys or classic Lyngen objectives, depending on group dynamics and conditions. Expect another dose of Arctic magic.

One last adventure in Lyngen. Slow morning and transfer back to Tromsø for our final evening together.
