Resort-hopping within easy reach: daily drives range from 20 minutes to 1h15, depending on the best call.
A mix of well-known resorts and local gems: classic days, quieter days, always with the same goal, better snow.
Morioka on tap: 20 minutes away, with great food, some nights in town, some nights near the hotel.
Our only Honshu trip: a week of snowboarding based at a hot-spring hotel near Morioka, riding the best resorts each day based on the forecast. Five full days on the board, onsen every evening, and an optional cat-ski day when conditions line up.
Arrive in Honshu and transfer to our onsen hotel near Morioka, your base for the week. Check-in, quick briefing on the week’s forecast, and your first soak in the hot springs to reset after the flight.
Dinner near the hotel and early rest.
Breakfast, then we drive to the best resort of the day (20 min to 1h15).
A strong first day to dial in legs, snow, visibility and group rhythm.
Back to the hotel for onsen + dinner.
This is where the concept shines: we follow the weather system and ride where the snow is best. We keep the plan flexible and can switch zones if needed.
Return, onsen, dinner.
Depending on the forecast, we go for a quieter local spot or a more classic, well-known resort. The goal stays the same: quality snow and good lines.
Evening at the hotel.
If conditions and logistics align, this is the best slot for an optional cat-ski day.
Otherwise, it’s another full forecast-driven resort day in the best zone available.
Back to the hotel for onsen + dinner.
Final full day: we choose the best closing move for the week—our “best-of” call.
Last turns, last vibes, then the final onsen session.
If the group feels like it, we’ll do one dinner in Morioka (about 20 minutes away) to enjoy the city’s food scene.
Check-out and transfer to the airport. Travel back home.
