This isn’t a typical resort-hopping tour — it’s a deep dive into the wildest, snowiest zones of Central/East Hokkaido. From tiny community resorts with untouched lines to volcanic ridges with steam vents rising through deep snow, every day offers a different playground. Expect varied terrain, ever-changing conditions, and a real connection to Japan’s winter soul.
Independent arrival at Sapporo New Chitose Airport (CTS) by midday. Meet your guide and group transfer by private van. Transfer to the first riding zone (approx. 2h 30min), Check-in and welcome briefing. Gear check & safety overview.
We start the tour in a high-potential local resort. Perfect terrain to warm up.
Overnight in the same base area
New day, new resort. We chase the freshest snow to one of Hokkaido’s many small community resorts, where snowfall is deep and the vibe is pure. After the ride, we switch areas and head north into Central Hokkaido.
We transfer to Asahikawa, our base for the next five days. Check-in, quick forecast briefing, dinner, and rest.
From Asahikawa we start operating in “best-conditions mode”: each morning we pick the resort (or zone) that offers the best combination of snowfall, visibility, and wind.
Drive times vary depending on the call, then full day of riding. Back to Asahikawa for dinner.
We follow the storm track and move accordingly. This is the heart of the concept: no fixed schedule—just the best option of the day.
Après in town: Asahikawa has great local spots for food and a proper winter vibe.
A flexible day to follow the storm. After riding, we transfer to Asahikawa, the cultural and logistical heart of Hokkaido’s north. From here, we access some of Japan’s best powder zones while enjoying the atmosphere of a vibrant mountain town. Overnight in Asahikawa.
A flexible day to target the “hidden gem” option if conditions point there, or go for a classic choice if that’s the best snow.
Same structure: morning call → ride → return to base.
Last full ride day from Asahikawa—final turns in the best zone of the day.
In the late afternoon / early evening we transfer back to Chitose (New Chitose area) for the farewell dinner and goodbyes, keeping departure morning smooth and stress-free.
Independent transfer from the hotel to New Chitose Airport (CTS). Return flight or onward travel.
