Program

We keep a rough plan to be flexible and offer you the best experience possible. So, we’ll follow weather changes and hunt the best and deepest powder!

Mandatory gear:
Freeride board or Backcountry skis with skins
Splitboard / snow-shoes
Kit shovel, beacon probe

Arriving independently at Sapporo (Hokkaido) airport by lunchtime, where you will find the guide waiting for you, we load the van for transfer to the first area where we will stay for the first three nights.

We will devote the first day to a small but high-potential resort. Depending on the weather conditions we will do a little review of safety equipment.

We continue to travel chasing the lightest snow in the world. New day, new resort! Hokkaido has many tiny local resorts that generously compensate with great amount of precious white dust.

Today we take you to one of Olly and Bubba’s favorite resorts, Furano! Its canals in the woods, with never-ending natural pillows. This place is magical, and we’re lucky enough we’ll live it under a snowfall.

Today, depending on the conditions, we have variable options. Weather permitting we’ll head to the Volcano and finish off our day dropping by the lost magical spot in the forest.

Jolly Day where we will follow the most massive disturbance, and after that we will move to Asahikawa, located in the heart of Hokkaido, which is a fantastic base for exploring some of Japan’s best powder skiing and snowboarding. Unlike traditional ski-in and ski-out resorts, staying in Asahikawa allows you to experience a vibrant city atmosphere while being just a short drive away from multiple incredible ski areas.

Today we visit an hidden gem with deep powder, fun tree runs, and almost no crowds.

Today, we will be on another volcanic mountain that not only offers incredibly light and dry snow but also provides a unique landscape, characterized by active fumaroles emerging from the snow-covered ground. These natural steam vents create a spectacular contrast between the pure white snow and the rising vapor from deep within the earth, making for an unforgettable experience in the heart of the wild.
