Beyond Powder

Snowboarding is just the beginning.

Not every trip is measured in centimetres of powder.

Beyond Powder is our line dedicated to snowboard culture: the places that, season after season, made this lifestyle what it is. Places where you don’t just go to ride, you go to breathe in where all of us came from.

Think of Mount Baker, home of the Legendary Banked Slalom and of Craig Kelly, one of the first mountains in the world to open its lifts to snowboarders. It isn’t only about perfect snow: it’s about roots, stories, people.

The first trip: Baker Roots, February 2027

Eight days in Washington State, across Crystal Mountain, Mission Ridge and Mount Baker. We start on 13 February and finish on the 20th, with our last day at Baker during the Legendary Banked Slalom.

About that race we’d rather be straight with you. The 2026 edition was cancelled because there wasn’t enough snow in the natural halfpipe, and the entries rolled over: the 37th carries two years of racers. Entries closed a long time ago. We go on the Friday, the day the racing is on but the mountain can still breathe, and we go as spectators. The rest of the ski area stays open, so we ride.

What makes it different

You travel for the culture, not only for the conditions. Iconic places, the ones you used to read about in magazines. An explorer’s pace: riding, history, people, places. And always the Forever formula: a small crew, nothing that feels like a package holiday.

How it works

Beyond Powder starts now, with a handful of selected trips, sometimes only one a season. Baker Roots has six places. If this is your world, write to us: we’ll send you the full programme and help you work out the flights.

Chase the culture, share the passion.
